GLAXO SMITH KLINE BREACH NOTIFICATION LETTERS MAILED TO CONSUMERS AFFECTED BY EPSILON DATA BREACH

The Epsilon data breach includes more than just names and e-mail addresses. The Epsilon data breach also includes customer's drug web site subscriptions. When the database hack that compromised the subscriber
lists of over 100 companies was first revealed, Epsilon stated names and email addresses were exposed. Those affected by the data breach were to only fear spam or phishing scams. However, the millions of
people affected now have another fear - fear of disclosure of medical information because there’s a drug company on the
Epsilon breach list. The Epsilon data breach customer list includes drug websites and implies which medical
conditions consumer may suffer from.

In fact, the Wall Street Journal is now reporting Glaxo Smith Kline has sent letters to consumers regarding the Epsilon breach. The breach notification letter was sent to customers who “registered with Glaxo Web sites
for some prescription and nonprescription drugs and products,” and warned them that their email addresses and names had been hacked, and that
the stolen information “may have identified the product website on which you registered.”
